Repair Of Eardrum

Eardrum repair involves fixing a hole or rupture in the ear drum or tympanic membrane utilizing a surgical procedure. The surgery is also useful for repairing or replacing the three tiny bones on the back of the eardrum. Myringoplasty, Tympanoplasty, and Ossiculoplasty are the three types of eardrum repair procedures. The first two procedures repair the hole in the eardrum while the third procedure repairs the bones.
