Dr. Athira Ramakrishnan is a familiar Bangalore-based ENT Surgeon / Otorhinolaryngologist with 15 years of rich experience in Head and Neck surgery. She devoted 10 years of her 15-year career to practicing Transoral Robotic surgery that is her major specialization. For the past ten years, she has been working as a consultant ENT at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore. A post-graduate in ENT from PGIMER in 2006, Dr. Ramakrishnan is an expert in endoscopic sinus surgery, ear surgery, thyroid, and parathyroid surgery, laryngeal and laser oral surgery, and head and neck cancer surgery.
After her stint with St.John’s Medical College Hospital, Bangalore as an ENT surgeon, she was trained in Head and Neck Oncology and Reconstruction. She uses her valuable experience of 10 years in her area of interest to manage patients receiving cancer treatment. During her academic career, Dr. Athira Ramakrishnan underwent training at the prestigious Mazumder Shaw Cancer Center, focusing on head and neck surgery. Have been consulting Dr.Aathira for the last 2 weeks for a severe ear infection. Extremely satisfied with her approach. I had suffered sudden nerve damage (around 30%) due to an inner ear infection.
